Netroots Nation marked 20 years of progressive movement-building, and a whopping nine of our team members headed to Philadelphia to join in the learning, networking, and celebration.

Take a look at how they spent some of their whirlwind Netroots weekend:
Day One
Two of our Netroots crew headed up early on Wednesday afternoon, and arriving early gave Drew and Pryor the honor of setting up our booths. Nothing builds character like constructing a step-and-repeat banner after a long train ride, right?
Of course, any complications were all worth it to be able to display the work and tools our whole team is so proud of. We specifically chose to have separate booths for Quiller and Grassroots Analytics’ data services so we could talk to attendees in detail about how each could support their causes or campaigns.
With our Town Hall presence prepped, our early birds capped off the night with a Phillies game – complete with a Phanatic sighting.

Day Two
The gang was all here, and the official events began!
We love going to Netroots every year because the energy is truly unmatched. It’s amazing to get so much face time with our clients, partners, and new faces, too, and talk to everyone about how better data can help bring about the better world we all want.

Lots of folks walking through the Town Square stopped for the sign at our Quiller booth, encouraging them to ask how we could cut their copywriting time in half. Even better, we had everyone from one of our UX designers to project managers to our business lead on hand to walk them through live, personalized demos right there at the booth!
Curious about our conference swag? We brought plush versions of Quiller’s trusty mascot, Quilly, and as soon as we handed out one to an attendee’s child, three more parents came to the booth asking about plushies for their kiddos! Kiara from our product team said this was her favorite part of the conference. 🥹
And of course, conference attendance has a way of inspiring a “work hard, play hard” mentality. We had a fantastic dinner with our whole squad and some former GA teammates. Shoutout to Han Dynasty in Old City for the most generous family-style parade of dishes we’d ever received!

Dinner was followed by a slew of happy hours with our partners and new friends, as well as Netroots’ infamous karaoke night. #iykyk
Day Three
In addition to teaching folks about GA data, hyper-targeting, and software, Netroots also gives us an incredible opportunity to learn ourselves.
Claire from our campaigns team shared that, as more of a calltime person than canvasser, she loved visiting the booths of some canvassing CRMs and learning how they work.
The on-year energy was also high. Drew’s key takeaways were that, “from talking to industry leaders in field/voter contact, digital mobilization, campaign strategy, and fundraising, it's clear that everyone is ready to work full steam ahead to secure wins in November.”
Whether at our own booths, walking through the Town Square, or between sessions, there’s always someone to say “hello” to at Netroots. We loved catching up with everyone from clients to vendor partners.

Day Four
Parting is such sweet sorrow, but luckily, we packed in plenty more conversations, Quiller demos, and sessions before the day wound down.
We especially loved the annual New Tools showcase… and who knows, you may see us up there at a future conference! 👀
As we headed back home after a productive weekend, we grabbed a few last moments in the city to really take it in. If you ask us, Philadelphia’s nickname was no coincidence: We truly felt the LOVE at Netroots this year!
